Dream Lovers
Author(s):
Mike Kaiman
Two friends wonder what it might be like to take the next step in their relationship. What seems to be on the surface to be a simple and easy transition to happiness is fraught with fear, anxiety, setbacks, hope and Dick Clark and Bob Costas hell bent on world domination.
Such is the world that Tom Harper & Angie Shields have created for themselves in my first attempt at a full-length play. The two main characters are so neurotic about entering into a serious relationship that they create dream images of each other to test the waters...only to realize that the dream characters are out to keep them from getting together. Will there be a happy ending for two friends in this tale of unrequited love, friendship and short, age-defying TV personalities?
